Kurt Strauss

Kurt Strauss, an associate attorney, pursed family law after realizing his passion for client advocacy. He listens to what is truly important to his clients and builds a strategy to protect and achieve what matters most.

Having practiced civil matters throughout California since 2010, Kurt believes family law is the most important specialty in law for a multitude of reasons. Family law decisions can impact children, finance, relationships, and even a client’s health. He applies his experience to help clients identify, prioritize, and achieve their goals to confidently move forward as they begin a new chapter.

Kurt’s clients include professionals and their spouses who have property division, child support and custody issues, and enforcement of judgments. Building trust is integral to Kurt’s approach in representing client while litigating the case to closure.

Although a native of San Jose, California, Kurt graduated with honors from Portland State University and obtained his J.D. from the University of the Pacific’s, McGeorge School of Law, where he was on the dean’s list for academic achievement.

Outside of work, Kurt spends time traveling to Mexico, free diving, fishing, practicing his Spanish, and listening to international music.
